This is our only yoga centric trail running retreat. And there's a reason. It is simply exceptional. The Run Weekend's team, along with the owners of this stunning 75 acre farm nestled in the heart of Sierra de Aracena National Park, just north of Seville will look after you very well. This farm is surrounded by rolling hills, ancient chestnut forests, and whitewashed mountain villages. This running and yoga retreat blends guided trail running, daily yoga in an open-air circular shala, and fantastic nourishing farm-to-table food. Expect runnable mountain trails through cork oak groves and river valleys, sunrise yoga with panoramic views, relaxed village café stops, and evenings shared over seasonal Andalusian meals. A running and yoga holiday designed to restore body, mind, and spirit in one of southern Spain’s most beautiful and undiscovered landscapes.

Itinerary
Southern Spanish trail running at its most grounding and restorative. Set in the rolling hills of Sierra de Aracena National Park, just north of Seville, this Run & Yoga Retreat is designed to gently slow you down and reconnect you with a simpler rhythm of life. You’ll be based at Finca el Moro, a peaceful 75-acre organic farm where mornings begin with yoga in a stunning open-air circular shala, built on a historic threshing circle and alive with birdsong, light, and panoramic views across the valley. Daily yoga sessions are led by Daisy, blending Ashtanga Vinyasa foundations with mindful movement to support the running, soften tired legs, and restore both body and breath.
Each day’s trail run explores the Sierra’s gentle but varied terrain. Chestnut forests, cork oak hillsides, winding rivers, and whitewashed villages, always at a relaxed, inclusive pace with time for coffee stops, photos, conversation, and moments of stillness along the way.
Food is a central part of the experience: fresh, organic meals are prepared daily using produce grown on the farm, celebrating seasonal Andalusian cooking that is nourishing, generous, and deeply satisfying after time on the trails. Brunches, lunches, and candlelit dinners are shared communally on the Cortijo terrace, where long tables, warm evenings, and honest food bring the group together. This is not a retreat about pushing harder or doing more, it’s about moving well, eating exceptionally, practicing yoga with intention, and leaving with a lighter body, a quieter mind, and a deep sense of having truly been away.
Day 1
Welcome to Rural Seville.
Your run & yoga Retreat begins at 15:00 with a group transfer from Seville. Your Run Weekends crew will pick up at the airport at 15.00 and shortly after in the town centre for those who are in Sevilla already. (More details upon booking). At 17.00 you’ll arrive at the stunning 75 acre farm nestled deep in the hills north of Seville, your home for the next few days. Once you’ve settled in, we’ll take a gentle 6km shakeout run through the surrounding olive groves and along quiet farm tracks, just enough to stretch your legs, Afterward, we’ll share a relaxed farm-to-table dinner, prepared with fresh produce from the farm.
Day 2
Yoga - Run - Lunch - Massage - Pool - 10km + 250m Elevation
We start the day with morning yoga in the circular open-air Shala on the farm. Having stretched out we will gather on the Cortijo terrace for a relaxed garden-to-table brunch. Homegrown produce, farm eggs, and simple Andalusian flavours, with animals wandering past as we eat. We then head out for a gentle 10km trail run through the Navahermosa valley, winding along streams and chestnut groves to the whitewashed village of Los Marines, before climbing back for big valley views and tea and homemade cake at the farm. The afternoon is yours. Perhaps a massage, (1 per person is included), pool time, village strolls, or an easy bike ride. As the sun drops, we reconvene for a laid-back farmhouse dinner, candlelight and shared stories.
Day 3
Sierra Trails & Sacred Peaks Loop - 23km + 450m Elevation
After a hearty farmhouse breakfast featuring local honey, homemade fig and geranium jam, fresh eggs, and strong Andalusian coffee, we head deep into the heart of the Sierra de Aracena National Park. The route climbs gradually past poplar-lined tracks, small farms, and wandering pigs and horses before reaching the high ridges near Mirador de Alájar, where chestnut forests and fern-filled trails open to wide mountain views. A rocky descent brings us to the cliffside hermitage of La Peña de Arias Montano, a quiet place to pause and take in the scale of the landscape. We roll on through the villages of Alájar and Linares de la Sierra for cool drinks and tapas of Ibérico pork and Jamón Serrano. We’ll climb back through cork oak groves and dry-stone farms to complete a demanding but deeply rewarding loop back at the farm for dinner cooked by the chefs especially for us. Yoga at your leisure.
Day 4
Yoga - Run - Lunch - Departure - 16km + 250m Elevation
The final morning's yoga practice offers a chance to stretch, reflect, and savour the quiet magic of the farm before our last run together. Setting off early for our final 16km run as a group, we follow the trails from the farm through the sleepy hamlet of Navahermosa. The path winds along a riverbank scattered with snowdrops and wild pink peonies, then climbs gently through pine forests. Our destination is the charming village of Valdelarco, where tostadas con jamón and hot coffee await us at a local café. Before heading back, we’ll pause to visit the 16th-century church, a grand yet humble landmark where the swallows nest and circle above the bell tower. The return journey takes us through the folds of the valley, bringing us home to the farm for one final lunch together. You’ll have time to relax in the grounds before your Run Weekend will officially come to a close at 17:00 as we depart back to Seville for flights home.
