Bring your humans along for a Run Weekends special event.
Fancy a big group run with loads of dogs and dog lovers?
Once a year Run Weekends gives a day to our furry friends. If you're a dog person, you'll know how special dogs are. Our aim for this day-only event is to simply get together, run and celebrate the love for our dogs. We'll have beach games, plenty of food and drink and generally enjoy the chaos of the day.
,A big part of the day will be a hefty doggy goody-bag with nearly everything your four legged friend could desire. It's a day for the dogs, not the humans.
You're invited to join our running community for a day to celebrate our dogs. We will meet, head for an 8 mile jog (very casual, it will likely be carnage with lots of dogs, but very fun), get back and each dog will have a bowl full of health delicious food, a toy to destroy, and several hours of play on the beach.
On the day the humans will eat too. Once the dogs have eaten, we'll sit down for freshly cooked pizzas on the beach followed by a sea dip and if we're lucky, jump into a Sauna to warm up (TBC).
Run Weekends will bring a big team to help lookout for the dogs as they play. As always your run route will be led by Nick Butter with support from his team.
Early bird - £32 per ticket. (1 ticket per person, bring as many dogs as you want).

Ticket Terms:
Over 18's only (or accompanied by an adult).
One pizza per person (possibly more available).
We are not liable for injuries. Take care of yourself and others.
You are responsible for your dogs behaviour.
We run as a group, general pace 10 minute miles (with dogs).
Dogs on leads initially, and always near cliffs.
Non alcoholic and veggie or vegan options available.
Info:
Weather: We are at the mercy of the weather. Bring correct gear. If we have a dry day we'll be eating on the beach with fire pits, plenty of dog play, and sea dips. If it's very wet and windy we'll head inside to the pizza place (dog friendly) on Fistral beach.
Safety: You are responsible for your dog. You know your dog better than we do. The Run Weekends team will have plenty of crew to support on the day. We hope all dogs will play well, but appreciate this isn't always the case. We'll help each other.
Dog Food: Once we've made it back from out 8 mile run, the Run Weekends crew will have prepared lovely meals for all dogs (eating from individual bowls - provided) We will be working with sponsor partners to provide choice and luxury food. More info in your event pack (Once you have your ticket).
Human Food: We'll have the ability to make pizza's on the beach. Depending on the weather we may not make our own, but instead head indoors to the pizza place. As part of your ticket you receive one pizza and one beer (or soft drink).
GoodyBag: We pride ourselves on quality goodybags. Your dog will go away with a selection of tasty treats, toys, food, and some care products.

Nick is very keen for every Run Weekend event to be as inclusive as possible. Runners of all abilities, shapes and sizes, ages and genders, and from all walks of life are welcome. You're in good hands: Nick has travelled to every corner of the world, run over 1000 marathons, and has dreamt up Run Weekends because he want's to showcase the world through running, just as he has. We all run together, we look after each other, and enjoy the event as a group.
